Costs and Fees
It is my goal to keep fees low in order to provide access to therapy for a wide range of individuals. If you present with financial hardship, I do utilize a sliding-scale that determines if you meet the eligibility for a reduced fee. At this time, I am a out-of-network therapist and I can only accept cash, credit card, or checks.
A Note on Insurance Coverage
Although I do not bill insurance companies directly, you may have the option for reimbursement through a PPO plan or through other kinds of insurances. Some insurance companies will still reimburse you for my services by categorizing me in their out-of-network-provider or reimbursement schedule. On average, they may directly reimburse you 50%-80% of my fees. I will gladly provide you with a reimbursement receipt for you to send them on your own. Keep in mind that you will be the one that will have to send in the receipt.
If you need to have insurance reimbursement, make sure you call them for more information before your start services. I would suggest you ask your insurance representative the following questions:
-
What is the percentage of reimbursement for providers who are out-of-network?
-
Have I met my deductible?
-
How many sessions will you reimburse me for?
-
Do you reimburse for the license LMHCA?
-
* Please note, if you decide to use telemedicine services (online counseling), most insurance companies will not reimburse you for those services at this time.
