Bre Carter MA, LICSW, SUDP

Clinical Counselor (licensed in Washington and Idaho)

Bre received her Masters Degree in Social Work and Addiction Studies in 2019. She has worked in a variety of settings in the mental health field and has experience working with individual adults, young adults, and adolescents. Bre’s therapeutic philosophy is anchored in the belief that the body and mind are intimately connected. She takes a relational and sometimes playful approach, using techniques such as art, movement, music/sound, and imagination to support client growth. She recognizes the inherent wisdom and resilience in all her clients, and maintains a trauma-informed and person-centered mindset.

Bre specializes in a variety of counseling approaches including Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy(ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT). In her freetime, Bre can be found reading, backpacking, re-watching her favorite T.V shows, and hanging out with her two cats, Eugene and Roise.
