Clinical Counselor

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State and have called Spokane home since moving here for graduate school. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Utah State University and later completed my Master of Social Work at Eastern Washington University.

Staying connected to this community has been a rewarding experience. I currently meet with students at Mead High School twice a week and primarily work with teen clients. I also enjoy working with adults, particularly those navigating college life or significant life transitions.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion and tailored to each individual. I believe in first understanding a person’s unique experiences, then considering their environment, and lastly, integrating diagnostic factors. You are so much more than a diagnosis, and I am committed to ensuring that the challenges you face do not define you.

I work from a person-centered perspective and have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Motivational Interviewing. I especially enjoy supporting older teens and adults with ADHD, as well as those identified as “gifted” in academic settings.

It’s a privilege to continue serving the Spokane community, and I look forward to meeting and working with more of the incredible people who call it home.
