Kari Longman, MA, LMHC
Clinical Counselor
Welcome! I am a licensed mental health counselor bringing nine years of experience working with a
diverse demographic of both adolescents and adults. Drawing on both personal and professional
experience, I have a particular passion for supporting those entering and on their motherhood/parenting
journeys. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and/or loss, I am passionate about
joining your village of support.
I believe in taking a whole-person approach to counseling and pride myself on my ability to see the
uniqueness in each person who walks through my door. During our time together, you may find me
drawing from a variety of counseling lenses including cognitive-behavioral, systemic, and social justice.
While maintaining an intentional and educated approach are important to me, you can also count on
experiencing a laid-back, playful, and honest environment.
At this time, I provide both in person and telehealth appointments at a handicap accessible office. Your
first appointment will include information gathering for me to best understand your needs and how to
support you. It is important to me that you feel safe and valued, and because of this, I welcome you to
approach this first meeting as a time for you to ask questions, provide feedback, and openly determine if
we are a good fit to work together. I look forward to getting to know you!
