Marla Amouroux, LMHCA
Clinical Counselor
Do you often feel emotions deeply—swinging between highs and lows, struggling to feel grounded, or worrying about being “too much” for others? You’re not alone. I specialize in working with adults navigating Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.
My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported as you learn to manage emotions, build confidence, and strengthen your relationships. Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I help clients develop tools to manage intense feelings while exploring the deeper emotional patterns that drive them.
In our work together, you’ll find a balance of practical skill-building and meaningful self-discovery. Whether you’re working through long-standing emotional struggles or new life transitions, I will walk alongside you with warmth, curiosity, and compassion—helping you move toward greater balance, resilience, and self-acceptance.
