Courtney Calaway, MSW, LSWAIC

"I believe there is strength and perspective in being present in the moment; especially living in a time where it’s easy to not be."
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Associate (LSWAIC) with a Master of Social Work degree from Eastern Washington University. I also received my Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Music from Utah State University. I specialize in working with children, teens, adolescents and young adults who experience anxiety, depression, trauma and life transitions.
I believe that all people have incredible value and are capable of overcoming hardships in life. I strive to create a collaborative environment during the therapy process. I believe there is strength and perspective in being present in the moment; especially living in a time where it’s easy to not be. My clinical approach uses aspects of Mindfulness, DBT, CBT, TF-CBT and play therapy (for children). I strive to incorporate these interventions in a strengths based person centered approach alongside you, to help you to meet your goals and improve your quality of life.
